An Unforgettable Three Days in Palanga – Best in Show and 9 New Champion Titles for Tauro Kennel
Three days, nine new champion titles, Best in Show, Best in Show Puppy, group victories and numerous podium placements – the International CACIB Dog Shows in Palanga became an unforgettable weekend for Tauro Kennel.
From September 25 to 27, 2026, our team spent three exciting days in Palanga, Lithuania, presenting our Pomeranians, Bichon Frise and Maltese in the show rings.
We returned home incredibly proud. Proud of the dogs who represented our kennel, proud of the young generation taking their first steps in the show world, and proud of the experienced dogs who once again demonstrated their quality at the highest level.
The greatest highlight of the weekend belonged to Tauro Kennel JP Bentayga, who reached the very top of the podium and became BEST IN SHOW 1.
But this extraordinary victory was only one part of a weekend filled with achievements.
Tauro Kennel JP Bentayga – BEST IN SHOW Winner
There are moments in the show ring that stay in your memory for a very long time, and seeing Tauro Kennel JP Bentayga become the winner of the entire show was certainly one of them.
Bentayga had an exceptional weekend in Palanga. She earned her new Lithuanian Champion (LT CH) title and achieved:

2nd Best Lithuanian Dog
2× Reserve BEST IN GROUP
Winning Best in Show is always something special. It means progressing from the breed ring to the group competition and ultimately standing among the very best dogs of the entire show.
For us, Bentayga’s victory was a wonderful recognition of her breed type, quality, presentation and the work that goes into preparing a dog for moments like this.
Pomeranians – From Best in Show to New International Titles
Our Pomeranian team brought home an impressive collection of titles and placements from Palanga.
Alongside Bentayga’s unforgettable Best in Show victory, we celebrated another major international achievement with Tauro Kennel JP Minerva.
Minerva completed the requirements for the title of J-C.I.B. International Junior Beauty Champion and also achieved an outstanding Reserve BEST IN SHOW JUNIOR placement.
Several of our Pomeranians also completed new Lithuanian Champion titles during the weekend:

Seeing dogs of different ages and generations achieve important milestones during the same weekend makes these results even more meaningful to us.
Tauro Kennel JP Nova – BEST IN SHOW PUPPY
One of the most exciting victories of the weekend came from one of our youngest representatives.
Tauro Kennel JP Nova became BEST IN SHOW PUPPY WINNER!
Puppy competitions give us an exciting first glimpse into the future. At this age, every show is an important part of a young dog’s development – building confidence, learning to enjoy the ring and gaining valuable experience.
Seeing Nova stand at the very top of the puppy podium was therefore a particularly special moment for our team and another reason to be excited about the new generation growing at Tauro Kennel.
Bichon Frise – International Champion Titles and Group Victories
Our Bichon Frise also had an exceptional three days in Palanga.
Tauro Kennel JP Kompiam completed the prestigious C.I.B. International Beauty Champion title and added two impressive group results to his show record – BEST IN GROUP and Reserve BEST IN GROUP.
Another important international title was completed by Tauro Kennel JP Belorra, who also became a C.I.B. International Beauty Champion.
Tauro Kennel JP Dalona completed her Lithuanian Champion (LT CH) title.

For us, achieving two new C.I.B. titles during the same weekend is an especially meaningful result. International champion titles represent achievements collected through international competition and are an important milestone in a dog’s show career.
Maltese – Another Champion for Tauro Kennel
Our Maltese team also had a reason to celebrate.
Tauro Kennel JP Gomera completed her Lithuanian Junior Champion (LT JCH) title in Palanga.
Every new title represents another milestone in the development of our dogs, and we are delighted to see our Maltese continuing to build their show careers alongside our Pomeranians and Bichon Frise.
Success in Couple and Kennel Competitions
The weekend was not only about individual achievements.
Across the three show days, Tauro Kennel dogs also repeatedly reached the podium in Couple and Kennel Competitions.
In the Couple Competition, our results included:
- Pomeranians – 2nd and 3rd place
- Bichon Frise – 1st and 2nd place
In the Kennel Competition, our Bichon Frise achieved:
- 2nd and 3rd place
These competitions are particularly meaningful to a breeder because they highlight the consistency and quality seen across several dogs representing the same breeding programme.

Together with numerous Couple and Kennel Competition podiums, these achievements made Palanga a weekend we will remember for a long time.
Behind Every Victory Is a Team
A Best in Show moment may last only a few minutes, but reaching it takes much longer.
Behind every dog presented in the ring are years of responsible breeding, carefully selected bloodlines, raising and socialisation, daily care, training, grooming and preparation.
And behind every successful show weekend is a team.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to these three days – those who prepared the dogs, cared for their coats, trained and handled them, supported them outside the ring and made sure every detail was taken care of.
Our sincere thanks also go to all the judges who evaluated our dogs and appreciated them so highly throughout the weekend.
We returned from Palanga tired, happy and incredibly proud – with nine new champion titles, Best in Show, Best in Show Puppy, group victories and many more podium placements.
Most importantly, we returned with another beautiful chapter added to the Tauro Kennel story.
Three days. Three breeds. One incredible team. And a weekend we will never forget.
